Yawa! Zenith bank denies funding Governor Fayose's 2014 Campaign

Well after the whole first lady X Governor Fayose saga yesterday. He claimed his election campaign was sponsored by Zenith bank and his bank account was wrongfully frozen. According to EFCC his bank account was frozen because #1.2billion naira of NSA funds were found in is Zenith bank personal account. The recent news surfacing is that the "Arms deal scandal" was also being linked to him as well.
Zenith Bank has reportedly denied funding Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose's gubernatorial campaign in 2014. Fayose released a statement earlier yesterday opening up on how his election was allegedly funded by the Zenith Bank Plc and some others. He denied having any financial transaction whatsoever with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) under Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd) and former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.

According to Sahara Reporters, Zenith Bank claims Fayose wanted them to conceal how NSA funds was laundered but they can't. All documents required to nail him have been handed over to the Econonic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and he was upset about it.

Zenith Bank confirmed that Fayose deposited huge sums of monies in suspicious transactions in 2014 and ran to them 2 weeks ago to perfect papers. They are now challenging him Fayose to publish his bank statements for all his 3 accounts at the bank for the public to see them.
