Beyoncé condemned the killing of 5 Dallas police officers during a peaceful protest in Dallas by posting the video above and paid respect to the dead by scrolling their names in the video. Rest in peace to the officers whose lives were senselessly taken yesterday in Dallas. I am praying for a full recovery of the seven others injured. No violence will create peace. Every human life is valuable. We must be the solution. Every human being has the right to gather in peaceful protest without suffering more unnecessary violence. The man who shot 12 police officers, killing five, at a Black Lives Matter protest in downtown Dallas on Thursday night has been named as Micah Xavier Johnson, a 25-year-old Army reservist with no criminal history or ties to terror groups. Johnson, from Mesquite, Texas, a 20-minute drive from Dallas, reportedly told law enforcement that he was a veteran, and claimed to have acted alone, countering initial reports that as many as four gunmen were involved in the massacre. 'The suspect said he was upset about Black Lives Matter. He said he was upset about the recent police shootings of black suspects. He said he was upset at white people. The suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers,' Dallas Police Chief David Brown revealed at a 7.30am press conference. Chinese couple, Wei Qishou and Wei Basao aged 102 and 103 respectively have actually been together since they were quite little. Wei went to live with her husband's family when she was orphaned aged six and he was just five and the couple have been together ever since. Basao remembers her wedding to Wei Qishou when they were teenagers. She said: 'In the evening, we had dinner with all the family elders and we were married.' Pictures circulating on Chinese media show the happy couple taking a stroll, holding hands and cooking a meal. Wei said her husband's family treated her well despite their poverty. The family which relied on farming for survival were so poor they slept on bare beds without bedding. Qishou worked as a farmer while Basao made shoes from hand.
